Living on Dugualla Bay has given me many many hours of pleasure and an appreciation of everyday life on the water for the inhabitants. The Great Blue Herons are permanent residents here and entertain us with their somewhat clumsy nature and keen fishing abilities. I am able to photograph them along the shore as the tide rises and falls. On sunny summer days I daydream "what if they were more like us?" I guess that's where my collection of herons started and I am sure it will continue to grow. It takes many hours to create a single character, but I do love them all. I hope you will enjoy them too!
